Linux 基金会宣布成立 eBPF 基金会 – 开源派
Linux 基金会官网宣布：微软、谷歌、Isovalent、Facebook 以及 Netflix 成立 eBPF 基金会，归属在 Linux 基金会旗下进行管理。
eBPF 代表 extended BPF（Berkeley Packet Filter），目前可以实现在 Linux 内核中运行沙盒程序，允许用户更安全地进行测试、扩展内核功能，而无需更改内核代码或加载内核模块。可用于实现各种基础设施用例，提供显著的效率和性能增强，大幅降低了系统的复杂性。eBPF 管理委员会主任的 Thomas Graf(Isovalent 首席技术官兼联合创始人)表示，eBPF 是程序开发基础设施领域最具影响力的技术之一，过去几年内出现了爆发式增长。基金会将帮助 eBPF 的发展，并促进基于 eBPF 的开源项目之间的合作。
