Microsoft Refines the Rounded Corners on Windows 11

We’ve known for a while that rounded corners were supposed to come to the world of Windows, and the Windows 11 announcement confirmed they were part of a major overhaul that Microsoft was actually planning for a completely new generation of Windows.

Rounded corners are already available in the testing builds of Windows 11, but on the other hand, it’s not a secret they need additional refinements, especially because some apps don’t seem to be rendered correctly.

In other words, the rounded corners are a nice touch, but on the other hand, they require extra polishing before they are finally prepared for prime time.

But as reported by iCenterPro, Microsoft has actually released some improvements for the rounded corners as part of the latest build, though there’s a chance the company would continue focusing on this area in the coming updates.

“Thank you for submitting your feedback! We fixed an issue where white artifacts were appearing on the corners of windows in Build 22000.120, which is now available in the Dev Channel,” Microsoft says.

The Windows 11 design

Microsoft itself says the design of Windows 11 has been specifically created with productivity and creativity in mind.

From the new Start button and taskbar to each sound, font and icon, everything was done intentionally to put you in control and bring a sense of calm and ease. Windows 11 is projected to launch in October, with some computers to get it as a free upgrade.
