Are you referring to the power supply cutting in and out with the subsequent increase and decrease in background noise? I've only heard it on a handful of models.

For me the dealbreaker is the wireless' compression hence i've never tried wireless HP to be able to be bothered (or not) by any power supply noise. That said i always hate self noise, ground loops, vinyl surface noise etc for any audio gear
