Workday takes Murdoch University to the cloud
By Staff WriterCompany News: Murdoch University is undergoing a major business transformation focused on providing a world-class service for its employees covering finance, human resources, and planning systems with the implementation of Workday's enterprise cloud applications for HCM, finance and planning.
The implementation of Workday commenced this month and is supported by global services partner, Collaborative Solutions, a Cognizant Company. It will create a future-focused, sustainable digital experience.
The transformation will replace a variety of legacy systems with Workday’s modern enterprise cloud applications for HCM, finance and planning – with Workday Financial Management, Workday Human Capital Management and Workday Adaptive Planning.
Murdoch University has five campuses and more than 1,800 staff and 23,000 students from across 90 different countries. It is recognised globally for the impact that its free-thinking graduates, life-changing research, and innovative campus and industry developments have made, locally and internationally.
Michael Grant - Deputy COO and Director, IT Services, Murdoch University, said Workday will enable better decision-making by providing leaders with direct, real-time access to people and finance data, streamline business processes and enhance the employee experience through increased self-service capabilities.
“Importantly, this will provide a best-in-class platform and enable Murdoch people to focus more on value-add activities. By reducing the time our people spend on time-consuming, manual processes, the more time they will have to improve the student experience at Murdoch University.”
