德国联邦金融监管局BaFin已于6月28日批准Coinbase在德国的实体Coinbase Germany GmbH，成为德国第一家提供加密货币托管服务的公司。由于这是新的业务模式，BaFin还创建了一个跨学科、跨部门的团队，将监督与加密货币托管业务相关的任何问题。据悉，2020年德国监管机构通过一项立法，允许企业提供加密货币托管服务，但需要获得BaFin的事先批准。
