windows 2008 r2 VS. win 7

我把这 2 个 OS 都装到了 VMware Workstation 16 里面，配置除去内存，其他一致，
2008 r2 是 8G 内存； win7 是 4G 内存
结果 2008 r2 卡得要死，体验完全不如 win7 。
宿主机是公司发的 windows，后来我在自己的家用电脑（宿主机是 Linux ）上装，体验没有什么区别。
这是咋回事呢，有什么调试的办法可以查出原因吗？（都没装什么软件，就装了一个 chrome，而且没运行 chrome 的情况下 2008 r2 就比 win 7 卡不少）
