At every company I've ever worked for or run, I've built technology to make engineers & data scientists immediately productive with data. This means a single place to ingest data easily, query data easily, and most importantly, share & collaborate on data. With bit.io we've built that technology for everyone. Try it now - just drag a CSV/XLS file on to bit.io and you'll have a full Postgres-compatible database, no sign up required.

@suhas2 we're in beta right now, so no charge - but the business model is anticipated to be: free accounts (always), free for public data, and if you want to have private data it's small monthly fee (think github amounts). Then, the primary model is query volume of private data - like bigquery. Storage will probably always be free; we want you to pay only when you use your data.
