What keeps you motivated to write?

I struggle to keep writing right now, so I wondered what strategies do you use to keep writing when that happens

- I want to help other people become better programmers. Particularly, write things in a way I would have liked to have seen when I was learning.
- I want to delete all my offline notes and have them as articles instead. I prefer my notes to be links to resources, rather than having my own offline text notes.
That generally keep me writing. I write because I want to write so I can do those things. It's like a pull, rather than pushing myself to write. It doesn't mean that sometimes I don't feel like it though. But I feel like not being in the mood for work is different to not liking the work you do, so to speak.
