随着机器翻译的高速发展，翻译专业也正在经历深刻的变化，人类和计算机在翻译过程中的交互也越来越多。因此，译员必须尽可能地熟悉计算机辅助翻译的功能、可能性和局限性。
为了满足这一需求，苏黎世大学（UZH）计算语言学系（Department of Computational Linguistics）和苏黎世应用科学大学（ZHAW）开始提供一项翻译技术和人工智能高级研究证书（CAS）。
