How to create your own 3D designs?
I’ve used vectary first time and made this.
3D illustrations are attractive, engaging and give an extraordinary feel to visitors. If your website has 3D content then it suddenly becomes eye-catching and gives futuristic vibes. Vectary is the most accessible 3D and Augmented Reality design platform. No downloads, all in the browser.
Just because a 3D tool is powerful and complex doesn’t mean it needs to be complicated and difficult to use.
Major features of vectary:
- A high-quality pre-rendered and lit scene for product shots, abstract graphic backdrops and more.
- Drag & drop thousands of free customizable 3D models from the library.
- Hundreds of advanced, realistic and fully textured materials to choose from, from frosted glass to pavement, wood or fabric.
- No app installation.
Step1: Create a new project
First you need to create an account on vectary. After that go to your dashboard and create a new project.
A empty 3d environment will open and have 4x4 surface.
Step2: Add a shadow layer
Now, we need to add a layer which shows the shadow of your 3d objects.
In objects, there is a different item below them. And in primitives, choose a shadow layer.
Step3: Add a cube
After that, we need to select a cube from the primitives. And place it on the surface plane. The size of the cube used is 100x100x80.
Step4: Rotate the other object
Now, duplicate the first cube and make its height a little bit larger and we need to rotate it by 18 degrees from the y axis.
You can do it according.
Step5: Place all the objects
You can place a different kind of objects at different positions. It will super easy to interact and play around with.
Step6: Add color to environment
In library, there is an option of environments. Where we can choose from prebuild environment or we can add our own colors.
I have used “The sky is on fire” environment.
Step7: Add colors to 3d objects
Now, I have add the “#ffa3ee” color to cube and cone. And “#bf8dfc” color to tilt cube, small cube and capsule.
For the sphere and square plane, I have used glass texture from the library.
Step8: Export & add to your designs
Now, you have to export it through the image with and without a background in different sizes and quality. Or you export it as a 3d object file.
And also you embed it into your website.
