The thing with strategies is that they are brilliant, absolutely necessary and they can be incredibly complex. Especially when it comes to strategies at a large tech enterprise like SAP. In order to unbox parts of this complexity SAP Women in Tech has decided to start a new format based on our well-known Tech Talk Series. Unboxing SAP-Strategy is a series dedicated to explaining strategic topics from the SAP universe in the simplest way. Ideally the participants of this series can even make their grandmother understand what is going on within SAP.

The first topic we will be taking under close observation is SAP’s Industry Cloud which is part of the larger Intelligent Enterprise Strategy. Sounds familiar? I know, I think we have all heard about it in one way or another but what is it really about? I mean even trying to explain to my granny what the Cloud is seems impossible. This is why we have Daniela Sellmann (Director Customer Advisory, Public & Energy) and Claudia Keller (Presales Senior Specialist, Energy) on board to shed some light on the topic.

They will explain what the term Industry Cloud and Industry Cloud solutions contains and how it is helpful reaching from integrating it into an existing landscape to extending it. While they will start of with a general introduction, they will deep dive into one of their fields of expertise: The Utilities Industry. Providing some real-life examples, they will showcase an End-to-End customer and employee journey within the SAP Customer Experience portfolio for energy suppliers. Followed, of course, by a Q&A.
