15 头亚洲象长达一年的迁徙

没有人清楚。不管是什么原因，一群亚洲象（共 15 头）已在中国跋涉了一年多，途径村庄和森林，走了 500 多公里，它已到达了昆明边上。专家表示，这是大象在中国已知的最远迁徙。它们接下来会去哪里，没人知道。它们什么时候停下来？也不清楚。这些大象的旅程似乎始于去年 3 月，当时有人看到 16 头大象从自然保护区向北，朝着云南省南部的普洱市方向出动了。今年 4 月，有人在自然保护区以北约 400 公里的元江县境内看到了这群大象。象群在元江境内出现时，有几头已经折返，还出生了几头小象。目前还不清楚是什么促使大象离开家园。但官方数据，经过保护努力，中国的大象数量近年来有所增长，从几十年前的不到 200 头增至如今的约 300 头。
