泰国中央银行聘请德国支付巨头设计CBDC原型
金色财经报道，泰国银行(BoT)聘请德国科技公司Giesecke+Devrient(G+D)开发中央银行数字货币(CBDC)原型。根据周日的采购公告，BoT选择G+D进行概念验证零售CBDC项目。该银行已为该项目拨款1000万泰铢（32万美元），其中包括税费、交通费、注册费和其他费用。据报道，G+D2020年的收入超23亿美元。聘请国际技术提供商表明该银行正在按照其推出CBDC的三到五年目标前进。该银行在4月初宣布，它已开始接受公众对其零售CBDC的反馈，截止日期为6月15日。
