D&AD奖创立于1963年，是由英国伦敦设计师与艺术总监协会举办的全球创意盛会。每年邀请超过250位世界上知名的创意从业者评选出本年度的最佳作品，以此激励和表彰卓越的商业创意。
本届赛事设置40个参赛类别，共收到来自76个国家的参赛作品。最终由来自全球50多个国家的创意领袖组成的评审团，评选出892项入围作品，其中中国作品（含港澳台及学生）60项。而在奖项设置上，由高到低划分为黑铅笔奖、黄铅笔奖、石墨铅笔奖和木铅笔奖，分别代表最高荣誉、金奖、银奖和铜奖。
