5月29日消息，据国外媒体报道，当地时间周五晚上，特斯拉首席执行官埃隆·马斯克宣布，该公司的Model S Plaid将推迟到2021年6月10日而不是2021年6月3日交付。
据悉，特斯拉是在2020年9月22日举办的“电池日”活动上发布Model S Plaid的。这款车配备有三个电动马达，续航里程超过520英里（约合840公里），最高时速为200英里（320公里），百公里加速时间少于2秒，四分之一英里加速时间少于9秒。
今年3月份，马斯克表示，新款Model S Plaid是特斯拉迄今为止最好的汽车，它将是首款可在2秒内加速到60英里/每小时（约合100公里/每小时）的量产车，而且还是四门配置，最多可容纳7人。
从去年9月份开始，特斯拉开始接受Model S Plaid的预订。今年5月20日下午，马斯克在推特上表示，Model S Plaid的交付活动将于6月3日在加利福尼亚工厂举行。
但当地时间周五晚上，他又表示，Model S Plaid的交付时间将推迟至6月10日，还需要一周的调整时间。
