NFT项目CryptoTrunks曾因gas费用过高而选择短时暂停以减少环境影响
据Decrypt消息，NFT项目CryptoTrunks允许用户根据加密货币交易的碳足迹种植像素化树，以显示对环境的影响。该项目在启动两天后曾因gas费飙升至500 Gwei而一度选择暂停项目运作，以此减少对环境的影响。一个小时后gas费用回落至150 Gwei，CryptoTrunks再次恢复运行。据悉，该项目创始人正在与Offsetra和Carbon.fyi合作，旨在将CryptoTrunks变成一个碳中性或碳负项目。他们计划将由加密艺术家Reuben设计的创世树（genesis trees）的部分收益捐赠给伯利兹的一个再造林计划Bull Run。
