亚马逊正在磋商以 90 亿美元收购米高梅电影公司。米高梅在去年底就传出正在寻找买家。米高梅代表寻求以 90 亿美元出售，但部分买家认为它只值 50 亿美元。亚马逊有超过 2 亿 Prime 订阅用户，其中 1.75 亿用户使用了 Prime Video 流媒体服务。电商巨人正致力于扩大 Prime Video，而米高梅的电影库有 4000 部电影，其中包括 007 系列和霍比特人，它的电视库也有 1.7 万集节目，其中包括星际之门系列和使女的故事。
