Learn how to monitor your cloud integration scenarios

1 Like 31 Views 0 Comments

As customers transition their integration scenarios to the cloud and make use of the key capabilities of the SAP Integration Suite, there is a need to help customers to monitor their key integration scenarios that are deployed and running on their SAP Cloud Integration tenant. There are a number of ways to monitor the integration scenarios both within the tool and using an Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) application.

For the various methods, we have provided a set of recent and ongoing assets and services to help customers monitor the health of their SAP Cloud Integration scenarios.

Firstly, within the tool itself there is an Operations View that allows the customer to monitor the integration scenarios and key settings configured for the SAP Cloud Integration tenant. For this we have recently released a Meet The Expert session to learn about the Monitoring Capabilities for the SAP Cloud Integration service.

If you use SAP’s on-premise ALM application SAP Solution Manager to monitor your SAP’s cloud and on-premise systems, we have recently created a Meet The Expert session to learn about the integration monitoring capabilities for SAP Cloud Integration in SAP Solution Manager. In this session, there is information on the technical prerequisites required to monitor cloud integration scenarios in SAP Solution Manager. There is a focus on the advanced integration monitoring features available in Focused Run for SAP Solution Manager.

To know more about how to configure SAP Solution Manager to use the integration monitoring and exception management tools to monitor both cloud and hybrid integration scenarios where SAP Cloud Integration and Process Orchestration is the integration platform involved, there is an Expert-guided Implementation (EGI) service available to help customers monitor the health of your cloud and hybrid landscape integrations. You can click here to register for the  EGI service Integration Monitoring and Exception Management for Cloud and Hybrid Landscapes.

As customers move to the cloud, there is a need to be able to monitor your integration scenarios through a cloud ALM solution. For this we are currently pilot content in a workstream in the SAP Enterprise Support Advisory Council program to support customers in integration monitoring with SAP Cloud ALM. During this engagement, customers will understand the value of SAP Cloud ALM for their landscape and how to implement and use its main functionalities for Integration Monitoring, with focus on SAP Cloud Integration.

Afterwards, if customer find issues in their integration scenarios you can avail of the Continuous Quality Check Interface Management (CQC IFM) service. The service helps customers to optimize the return on their investment in SAP applications by investigation and analysis of specific interfaces. The service helps to minimize potential risks during critical go-lives as well as during the operations phase of your solution and to increase technical stability, performance, throughput, and maintainability of your solution.  Please see the info sheet to see which integration scenarios is in scope for the service at present and here we advise which integration scenarios are in pilot at present also.
