华擎推出Thunderbolt 4 AIC扩展卡，规格稍有不足

华擎（ASRock）今天推出了新一代Thunderbolt 4 AIC扩展卡，可以为主机提供完整的Thunderbolt 4连接。和过往的Thunderbolt扩展卡一样，需要主板具有对应的Thunderbolt扩展插针（华擎称为TBT_Header），另外和之前华硕推出的ThunderboltEX 4扩展卡一样，还需要外接主板一个USB 2.0接口。
这款Thunderbolt 4扩展卡是单插槽设计，全高规格，长度为8.4cm，高度为10.41cm，采用了PCIe 3.0 x4接口，使用了英特尔JHL8540“Maple Ridge”主控芯片。
Thunderbolt 4 AIC扩展卡配备了两个Thunderbolt 4接口（USB-C型），每个接口具有40 Gbps的双向带宽，可以提供DisplayPort 1.4直通输出。另外还有两个标准的DisplayPort 1.4输入接口（华硕同类产品是mini-DisplayPort），用户可以通过DP线缆将显卡视频输出信号连接到Thunderbolt 4 AIC扩展卡上，然后再进行视频输出，通过Thunderbolt菊花链最多可支持五个设备。据华擎的介绍，此扩展卡最大可支持单路5K（5120 x 2880）@60Hz视频输出。
另外Thunderbolt 4 AIC扩展卡还可以支持PD 2.0协议，可支持9V@3A（27W）和5V@3A（15W）快充。华擎的资料显示，目前这款产品只支持英特尔500系芯片组的主板使用，前提是主板也需要有对应的Thunderbolt扩展插针。
华擎过往的Thunderbolt扩展卡在规格上一般都比其他品牌的低一些，这款也不及此前华硕推出的ThunderboltEX 4扩展卡（主要缺少了外接供电）。正常来说，不同品牌之间，配有对应Thunderbolt扩展插针的主板是可以通用的。华擎暂时未公布具体价格，估计也会比华硕的同类产品要便宜。
