根据在《柳叶刀》期刊发表的论文，俄罗斯自己研发的新冠疫苗 Sputnik 有效率达到 91.6%。斯洛伐克从俄罗斯获得了 20 万剂的疫苗，它在测试后质疑了疫苗的质量。此举惹恼了北极熊，俄罗斯要求斯洛伐克退还疫苗，俄罗斯官方 Twitter 账号还指控斯洛伐克违反了合同，在未经欧盟认证的实验室内对疫苗进行测试，构成了“破坏行为”。
