While you won't find many deals directly from Apple (unless you're a student or buying refurbished) there are excellent offers on Apple hardware from a number of other retailers – if you know where to look.

Apple Back to School Sale
Apple hasn't offered any special deals for 2021, however, it did kick off its Back to School Sale in Australia, New Zealand, Brazil and South Korea. Staff and students in higher education can now get a free pair of AirPods with Mac and iPad purchases, along with 20% off AppleCare+. The sale ends 15 March, 2021.
We're expecting a similar offer to land in the UK and US this summer. We're tracking all news related to Apple's Back to School sales in this article.
Top Apple Deals right now
1. Apple iPhone 12 mini (64GB)
£659 was previously the lowest the 12 mini had ever been - but now there's a whopping £100 off from Amazon. If it sells out, there's also £75 off from AO, Very and John Lewis. It's a solid discount on a top-end handset which is still less than six months old.

2. Apple iPhone 12 mini, 100GB data & free Nintendo Switch
Get the iPhone 12 mini and a Nintento Switch console without any upfront costs from Mobile Phones Direct. The plan offers 100GB of data on Three for £53 per month.
3. Apple iPhone 12 (128GB)
The iPhone 12 has £40 off from a few retailers, in the biggest discount since its launch – but Amazon now has up to £86 off.
4. Apple iPhone SE (3GB RAM, 256GB)
The top storage SKU of Apple's stellar affordable offering for 2020 - the updated iPhone SE - enjoys an £81 Amazon discount, making it a solid choice amidst Apple's current smartphone lineup.

5. Apple iPad (2020, 32GB)
Pick up the 8th generation iPad from Amazon with £12 off. This is the lowest price we're seeing right now. There's also £10 off from Costco on both the 32GB and 128GB option.
6. Apple Watch Series 6 (44mm, GPS)
Currys is also offering the same model for £388.
7. Apple Watch Series 6 (44mm) Cellular
Save £20 on the latest Apple Watch over at Currys, which is also bundling up to 5 months of Apple Music, Arcade, and News+. For the Watch 6 alone, you can get the same price from AO.com and Amazon.
8. Ivacy five-year VPN subscription
Now: $80 - approx. £57.60 ($1.33 per month - approx 96p) (87% off)
Ivacy's current deals aren't worth shouting about. But this 'secret' deal is. It's one of the best around, knocking 87% off the usual monthly price. To get it, follow the link above on a desktop web browser, and move your mouse cursor off the page and onto your browser's top bar.
You should then see a Limited Time Offer with the deal.
It's a five-year subscription for which you'll pay the equivalent of $1.33 per month, which is about 96p. That's an up-front payment of $80 (around £57.60) which is an absolute bargain.
Ivacy offers a great service which supports P2P downloads, unblocks streaming services (including Netflix and Disney+) and, like any VPN service, gives you security when using public Wi-Fi and privacy when browsing the web.
It's one the cheapest VPN deals around.

The BT Shop now has the lowest price on the M1 MacBook Pro with 256GB storage.

Virgin's bundle offer includes a free pair of Apple's AirPods Pro for free. See other excellent iPhone 12 and 12 Pro deals.
15. Apple iPhone SE with 18GB data
Now: £9.99 upfront, £23 per month (with free Beats Flex earphones)
Here's an excellent deal from Mobiles that gets you 18GB data (5G) on the iPhone SE for just £23 per month. You also get a free pair of Beats Flex earphones.
16. Apple iPad Air 2020 (64GB, 4th Gen)
Amazon's offer on the entry-level iPad Air 4 beats both Currys and AO's price.

A small but extremely rare discount on Apple's new flagship, the top-of-the-line iPhone 12 Pro Max. KRCS's discount isn't much, but it's the lowest price around right now for this model.

Where to find refurbished Apple deals
If you're looking for a top refurbished Apple deal, the first place to check is the Apple Refurbished Store. Devices there are guaranteed to look and work just like new. Any parts that are up to scratch are replaced so what you get out is virtually indistinguishable from new. The only major difference is you'll be paying a lot less.

When to expect major Apple deals - Key dates
Don't forget, there are several key points in the year when you're more likely to save on Apple devices – especially given Apple hardly holds sales of its own.
First up: When Apple has its next event. We expect this might be 16 March, 2021. As with past events, Apple is likely to announce new devices and upgrades, which means 2020's devices will start seeing a price decline.
Apple Back to School Sale US/UK - Apple may have started its Back to School sale in Australia, South America and Asia, but we're still expecting the UK/US sales to begin – which will likely be around June or July. Student and staff in higher education can expect to get a free pair of AirPods with Mac or iPad purchases if Apple repeats the offer in the UK and US markets.
Prime Day 2021 - Amazon's Prime Day is the retailer's largest sales, promising discounts across thousands of devices – including Apple hardware. You'll need to be a Prime member though to get access to exclusive discounts. Last year, Amazon made a departure from past years and held Prime Day in October instead of July. Amazon hasn't confirmed what Prime Day 2021 will look like but we expect big savings!
Black Friday 2021/Cyber Monday 2021 - Of course, the grand-daddy of all sales is the Black Friday and Cyber Monday period with discounts from every major retailer. Last year we saw hundreds of pounds off the Apple Watch 5 smartwatches, refurbished Apple devices, discounts on iPads, the new M1 MacBooks and more. Apple also has its own Black Friday event. Last year it offered customers giftcards worth up to £120/US$150 with select purchases.
