Opera has released an update for its Mac web browser that provides full support for the ARM64 architecture in Apple Silicon, and makes the software fully compatible - and offers far better performance - with Macs equipped with M1 processors.

According to the company (and reported by 9to5Mac), optimisations for the new processor architecture make Opera twice as fast as before. The program itself opens faster, web pages load faster, and built-in social media features such as WhatsApp and Telegram load faster.

The update also adds the ability to set a keyboard shortcut to enable the Flow feature that allows you to send files, notes and more between Opera on different platforms over an encrypted connection.
