巴哈马央行数字货币Sand Dollar即将开始商业运营
巴哈马中央银行宣布，其中央银行数字货币“Sand Dollar”有望在一周之内实现其各个钱包提供商之间的完全互操作性。央行最近发表的一份声明显示，预计付款服务提供商等授权金融机构将在未来几天内完成测试。2020年10月，“Sand Dollar”成为世界上第一个超越试点阶段并正式启动的CBDC 。发行后，由中央发行的数字货币可供所有巴哈马尼亚公民使用，而与商业银行系统的集成则需要逐步推出。央行表示，现在即将完成整合。
