高盛前高管迈克尔· 达菲（Michael Daffey） 本月以5100万美元的价格买下了因性侵丑闻自杀的纽约大亨杰弗里·爱泼斯坦（Jeffrey Epstein）在曼哈顿的豪宅。

达菲本月刚刚从高盛退休，此前担任该公司全球市场部门主席。据了解达菲投资活动的人士透露，他是在从比特币投资中获得巨额收益后买下这所豪宅的。

达菲的发言人周二表示：“达菲先生此前从未来过这所房子，也从未见过它的主人，但他对纽约的未来深信不疑。”这位发言人称，达菲用现金和过渡性贷款买下了这座豪宅。

这所豪宅位于曼哈顿上东区，面积达2.8万平方英尺（约合2600平米），共7层，有40个房间，去年7月挂牌出售，最初要价8800万美元，但几个月无人问津，被迫降价3700万美元。
