One of their more recent releases through YouWorkForThem is xScan, a single-step distortion process that will give your text a photocopier-like, “dragged through a scanner” appearance in an instant. 

xScan includes five fully-customizable .psd files in full-size (4000×6000 px) and half-size (2000×3000 px), making it perfect for both print and digital projects. This product will work with any font of your choosing, so matter what type design you’re interested in distorting, xScan can take you there.

Creating realistic photocopy distortions has never been so easy, thanks to Photoshop. Simply double-click on the Smart Object and edit the text layer — that’s all there is to it. If you get lost along the way, xScan includes detailed instructions in its readme.txt and also provides a handy Troubleshooting Guide if you need it.

xScan is perfect for everything from marketing materials to posters, advertising, website designs, product packaging, merchandise, apparel designs, book covers, album artwork, titling sequences, and any design project that needs uniquely warped text effects.
