Rider 2020.2.5: Support for Big Sur
Hello everyone,
We’ve just published the 2020.2.5 bugfix release for our dotnet tools – ReSharper, ReSharper C++, Rider, dotCover, dotMemory, dotTrace, and dotPeek.
The main reason for this release is that we wanted Rider to run smoothly on macOS Big Sur. We fixed some issues that were preventing Rider from correctly opening and debugging projects on the new macOS Big Sur (the whole list is available in our bug tracker).
Unfortunately, because all our dotnet tools share the same Deploy button, updates to all the tools will be published, however, the only one that has any changes is Rider. Sorry for the extra noise!
