Driving while distracted and/or oblivious
For those of you reading this who have not witnessed the spectacle of seeing the California Highway Patrol pull someone over, I'll fill you in on some details. It seems all of their cars have a massive PA system built in, and they are not afraid to use it. They'll crank that thing up, put on their best command voice and tell you exactly where to park to receive your ticket.
Ever wonder why it's so loud? It's stuff like this.
Incidentally, she has both of them in, even though this pic only captured her left side. I watched her carefully take them out, fiddle with them, and put them back in while we waited at a red light. CVC 27400 is the operative thing here.
Be careful out there.
