百度运营着“全球最大的中文社区”——百度贴吧，与 Reddit 相似的主题性论坛。百度一直尝试推广其移动 APP，但过去没有禁止匿名用户通过 Web 端访问和浏览网站。这一情况从周六开始发生变化：它开始强行要求用户登陆，而主要的登陆方法是使用 APP 扫码。这意味着匿名用户将无法再访问 Web 端，即无法再浏览“最大的中文社区”。
