今年前三季度，iPhone的全球出货总量仅为1.16亿部，但自iPhone 12系列发布后，这一数据再次更新，并且刷新纪录。
12月18日，据最新消息显示，投行wedbush在对苹果供应链调查之后认为，iPhone 12系列产品目前的市场需求轨迹超过了此前乐观的预测,明年iPhone全系列产品的出货总量有望达到2.5亿部。
Wedbush分析师Daniel Ives在周四发布的研报中表示，苹果已多年没有遇到像这样的上升趋势，唯一类似的iPhone轨迹还是2015年的iPhone 6（出货量 2.32亿部）。另外，该分析师还称，根据最近的调查，供应链当前预计第四季度iPhone产量将达到9500万部。
就在前两天，还有知情人士透露，苹果已要求供应商准备在明年上半年生产 9500~9600 万台 iPhone。同时，还计划2021 年全年生产 2.3 亿台 iPhone，包括新机型以及在售老机型，目前已知得有iPhone 11 、 iPhone SE以及今年销量暴增的iPhone 12 系列。
这一生产计划意味着明年iPhone的产量将比2019年增长20%。据悉， 2015年iPhone的总出货量或为2.31亿台。
