印度社交视频平台Mitron TV完成3.741亿卢比A轮融资
总部位于班加罗尔的印度社交视频平台Mitron TV宣布完成了一笔3.741亿卢比（约合500万美元）的A轮融资，领投方为Nexus Venture Partners，参投方包括3one4 Capital、LetsVenture以及多位天使投资者：MakeMyTrip的董事长Deep Kalra、Pine Labs首席执行官 Amrish Rau、Jupiter创始人 Jiten Gupta、Spotify印度董事总经理Amarjit Batra、Facebook和Snapdeal前高管 Anand Chandrasekaran、Google Cloud India总经理Karan Bajwa、Shopclues联合创始人Radhika Ghai、GoIbibo联合创始人Vikalp Sahni、LetsVenture联合创始人Shanti Mohan、PremjiInvest的TK Kurien，以及Smile Group的Manish Vij和Harish Bahl。
Mitron 公司创立于今年四月，两位联合创始人分别是Shivank Agarwal和Ankit Khandelwal。该公司开发的短视频社交应用平台允许用户创建、编辑和分享自己的视频，并可以浏览来自全球的视频库。截至目前，该应用已经在Google Play Store上被下载了超过3300万次，每月有90亿次的浏览量。
值得一提的是，该公司也是印度政府对中国应用颁布禁令之后受益的公司之一。他们表示，将利用筹得的资金加快产品开发，提高产品参与度，并招募技术人才。公司期待能建立自己的品牌，将Mitron打造成为面向印度用户的世界级品牌。
