律动 BlockBeats 消息，9 月 6 日，针对社区对于 SushiSwap 创始人身份的怀疑，Chef Nomi 刚刚发布推特澄清，他不是 Sorawit Suriyakarn（即 Band Protocol 的 CTO）。他还表示，对于拥有 SUSHI 代币一事，他早已在项目上线前的代码中提到，这并非欺骗或者骗局。
此前，他在 Discord 中回应称他确实拥有完全的控制权，「这是一个 devshare （注：DevShare 程序是开发人员可以为自己的项目启用的选择功能） ，我在 SushiSwap 最初的文章中就提到了它的开发用途。」（意思是他早就确定了的，并非暗藏后门）「从理论上讲，我可以把它们全部卖掉，我不觉得有什么不妥。」
