We got a lot of details on OnePlus' upcoming affordable phone over the last two weeks: it will be unveiled on July 10, feature 32MP + 8MP dual cameras at the front, and is powered by the Snapdragon 765G chipset.
Now we know what the phone will be called: OnePlus Nord. The leaks hinted as much anyway, and we now have official confirmation. OnePlus revealed the name during the first part of the New Beginnings documentary that the company is airing on its OnePlus Nord Instagram account. The OnePlus Nord is the first affordable phone the company has released in a few years, and it will be interesting to see where it slots into the market. Teasers hinted at a launch price of just $299, and that would make the phone stand out against the likes of the Pixel 3a series and the upcoming Pixel 4a. The Nord will debut in Europe and India, with OnePlus noting that select users in North America will get to try out the phone in a "highly limited" beta.
