6月24日消息，《晚点LatePost》报道称，造车新势力理想汽车即将获得5.5亿美元D轮融资，美团领投5亿美元，理想汽车创始人李想跟投剩余5000万美元中的3000万，投后估值为40.5亿美元，目前交易在进行中。
对此，美团方面对《深网》回应称不予置评。
美团创始人、CEO王兴对造车新势力（王兴更喜欢称之为“新车企”）颇为关注，他自己也购买了一台理想ONE。
2019年8月，理想汽车发公告表示获得5.3亿美元C轮融资，其中王兴个人出资2.85亿美元，美团旗下的龙珠资本出资1500万美元。
