Xiaomi pulls Android 10 update for Mi A3 again following repeated complaints

The Mi A3 is not out of the woods yet, as Xiaomi keeps pushing buggy Android 10 updates to the device. Now, it has emerged that the company has pulled the latest Android 10 update following a litany of complaints from owners.

The joke is wearing thin now, Xiaomi. As we reported a few days ago, the latest Android 10 update for the Mi A3 is full of bugs. The same applied to the last update that Xiaomi released for the device, and the one before that too. In fact, it seems that Xiaomi is just releasing monthly security patch updates, the minimum requirement for an Android One smartphone.

Now, it seems that Xiaomi has pulled Android 10 for the Mi A3 again. This would not be the first time that the company has done so, as we have previously reported. As before, numerous people have been complaining about bugs on Mi.com and on other channels. We should stress that not all handsets are necessarily affected by the same bugs, with some people claiming that Android 10 is now working perfectly fine.

The news comes from Xiaomi support, which has been informing people of the change. While support representatives are not always a reliable source, it is telling that the news has already reached them. As we have said previously, we would recommend that you keep your Mi A3 on Android 9.0 Pie until reports emerge that Xiaomi has fixed the Android 10 build for the device. Xiaomi advises against downgrading to Android 9.0 Pie from Android 10 too as this can cause system instabilities.
