据台湾媒体报道，喜剧天王周星驰主演的《唐伯虎点秋香》，在台湾创下最高重播率，至今仍无敌手。该片导演李力持最近为了纪念25周年，在社群网站PO出当年和主要演员的合影，又勾起影迷的怀旧情，让该片重新翻上网络被大肆讨论，当年不为人知的幕后八卦也被挖出，其实女主角的第一人选并非巩俐，而是王祖贤。
