On May 20, in partnership with the BSV Association, the blockchain incubator Block Dojo will be hosting its next “Spring Discussions,” focusing on the future of venture funding. The event runs from 5-7 p.m. GMT at Google London’s Central Saint Giles location and will include a panel discussion in addition to unique networking opportunities.

“The purpose of the Spring Discussions is to bring together the Blockchain and VC ecosystems for a fun event held by our partners at Google!” Block Dojo’s Global Commercial Director Jay Gujral told CoinGeek.

“It’s a perfect time for this panel due to the growth of blockchain and web3 investing across the globe,” he added.

Panelists will include seasoned veterans in the Venture Capital space: Ash Arora of Local Globe, Anil Hansjee of Fabric Ventures, Conner Cantwell of COSIMO Venture Partners, and James Massey of Google (NASDAQ: GOOGL), all hand-picked by Gujral.

“Our panelists were selected because of their Web3 expertise and their ‘on the ground’ knowledge of investing and the ecosystem in general,” he said.

Block Dojo’s Investment Director, Gareth Hawkins, will be moderating the panel and diving into subjects such as Web3 and blockchain opportunities, macro-economy and deal activity, investment trends, advice for seed-stage founders, the changing landscape of venture, and more.

Following the panel discussion, attendees are invited to the Block Dojo and BSV Association Spring Party at Bunga Bunga Covent Garden, an opportunity for further networking alongside complimentary food and drinks.
